ROAD TEST FOR POWER STEERING OPERATION. INSPECT SYSTEM FOR LEAKS. FLUSH POWER STEERING LINES, PUMP, RACK AND PINION, AND OR GEAR BOX. INSTALL NEW POWER STEERING FLUID. INSTALL POWER STEERING ADDITIVE TO REVITALIZE SEALS. ROAD TEST.

FOUND: codes set for right rear solenoid Outlet valve malfunction. Codes reset immediately after clearing. Check for update for the ABS control module found none available at this time. Recommend replace ABS control module along with the hydraulic control assembly that contains the solenoids. May all be one unit.

FOUND: found that there was a blown fuse in the under hood fuse box. This was fused number 18. This 10 amp fuse Powers the rain sensor as well as other components including the controller area network Gateway module. This fuse was probably blown when the wires were cut at the rain sensor. Replaced 10 amp micro fuse. The wires are spliced into the correct places at the rain sensor connector, however the connectors that were used are damaged. Recommend rewiring the connector into the harness with better crimp connectors and heat shrink
