- FOUND: pressure tested EVAP system. The valve at the rear of the fuel tank is leaking. There's a crack in the fitting that attaches the plastic line to the valve. These valves are most likely part of the tank and will require complete fuel tank replacement. This vehicle uses the evaporative system Integrity monitor switch assembly to check for leaks (ESIM). Vehicle will have to be retested after tank replacement to determine if there are any other leaks and if the ESIM switch assembly that reports leak conditions is working properly. Some erratic operation was observed when testing with the scan tool. The ESIM switch assembly and the sealing gasket at the back of the evap canister may also need to be replaced.
