- FOUND: tested power supply circuit for the electronic intake valve timing control module and found that battery power is missing from the module. The wiring diagrams indicate that this power comes from a 40 amp fusible Link in the underhood fuse box. When inspecting the fuse box it was found that this fusible link is missing. A temporary fuse was installed and the code was cleared and the vehicle was test driven. The code did not reset during City street driving. Recommend replace the 40 amp fusible link with a factory part and retest. It is possible that the fusible link may open circuit under higher load conditions in this case more diagnosis will be needed. Performed road test after fuse replacement. Code has not reset at this time.
