- FOUND: code p0aa4 returned. This code indicates that the negative contactor relay was stuck closed. Clearing the code once again allowed the vehicle to start and run. Further testing will require removal of the battery energy control module covering and the covering for the high voltage battery. Additional time will be needed , additional Back seat must be removed to access the high voltage battery Electronics. Default is not present at this time and will be difficult to diagnose due to the intermittent nature. The contacts in the negative contactor high voltage relay are possibly sticking closed at times. The fault can only be diagnosed if it is happening at the time of testing. There is quite a bit of disassembly in the luggage compartment area of the vehicle required to access the areas for testing.
