- FOUND:lifted vehicle to inspect for leak found transmission fluid leaking out of the output shaft seal .output shaft seal was recently replaced elsewhere . tsb for driveshaft/output shaft seal :if leaking check driveshaft for excessive play . Shook driveshaft excessive amount of play is felt in shaft . Would have to pull driveshaft and inspect for broken bearing retainer snap ring on shaft
- Courtesy Vehicle Inspection: Includes vehicle inspection – report to be sent via text on any visual observations & any Scheduled MFG recommendations.
- FOUND: ABS activates intermittently when coming to a slow stop. Code c0255 is recorded which indicates a fault with the rear wheel speed signal. The transmission seems to default to a low gear after this code sets and does not upshift properly. Have driven the vehicle while monitoring the ABS wheel speed sensors and have noticed no abnormalities at this time. Cleared the codes from the ABS computer and the vehicle seem to shift normally after the codes were cleared. The ABS light is on at this time and there are no stored codes in the ABS module.

- PROPELLER SHAFT – Remove & Install or Remove & Replace – One Piece Driveline,To Rear Axle
- (Combination) – PROPELLER SHAFT YOKE – Remove & Replace Each
- EXTENSION HOUSING – Remove – 1500 One Piece Driveline
- TRANSMISSION ASSEMBLY – Remove & Replace – 1500,V8,RWD – [Includes: Perform Relearn procedure.]
- TRANSMISSION COOLER FLUSH
